and looking for something burgeoning there…
i’ve always wanted to get to that city
and haven’t made it yet…
now i feel like i might go there and do something and help and discover something about the world i’d never see anywhere else…
but i have no idea what i could do…

I think that right now, there’s nothing to do there because there’s no infrastructure. I think that over the next month / year / years there’s going to be a lot of work to be done in the refugee camps.

Have you read much of Delany’s non-SF work? It put _Dhalgren_ into a completely different perspective for me.
