i read a few of his books when i was younger
but hadn’t got around to this one…
and i had nabbed this from ednixon
over a year ago!
and just tonight i saw it.
beautiful in so many ways
… not really a plot driven film
driven by beauty
the cinematographer was having orgasms all over the place
how could he not?
Gorgeousness.
and, Ah. such memories.

to feel it
to figure it all out
to BE
and to Love.

Thanks for the credit on turning you on to this classic 1968
movie. The DVD was re-released with the director’s and
screenwriter’s commentary tracks in 2002, and an excellent
transfer from the original neg as well…
It’s a social meme, Lawerence, and Glenda’s oscar for this
movie, I know of a few others that are fans. Lurch had memorized
the screenplay.
In a Holiday Inn at Santa Nella right now, with Scruffybeast from
El Centro. You’re in eastern time again ?
