I can’t believe I missed this again! I really wanted to go, but zero cash right now, and my bf is leaving for 10 weeks in a few days, so priorities…. Why couldn’t it have been next month? I have been very curious about the straight/queer dynamics of this event, would love to have checked it out in person. Please post more pics; I’d love to see them.

Things haven’t changed. Longhair/Beards have always been pretty much a straight thing. I remember reading a letter to the editor in The Advocate in ’72 (when supposedly EVERYBODY had long hair) “Why do I have to grow a beard just to give someone a bj? All it does is make me look old.”
If anything, the internet has given us longhairs a way to communicate and feel like there’s at least one or two other dudes out there who think alike.
