my two birthdays in NYC have included with me taking pictures of
myself every day
but back then
I was doing that more

this year it will require a bit more effort
because I’ve let that habit lapse

what I enjoy about my extended birthday cycle is the ritual time of
self examination

maybe this year will be further obfuscation

in keeping current with my ideas…
