The flight was packed
It seemed they were all speaking Chinese of some sort

The woman on my right kept snorting a stuffed up nose
Smelled bad
And asked for milk as her beverage of choice

I was shocked
Slept very little
Enjoyed the view of the sun rising over Brooklyn

Exceptionally beautiful: pale blue ambience
Still visible electric grid

A Buddhist monk smiled at me and stroked the imaginary beard under his
chin
Giving me the thumbs up

I stroked my imaginary shaved head
And showed him my own thumb

We spent a moment grinning at eachother

How much I miss and love Portland

How happy I am to be here
