while moving a table on Friday
i dropped my phone outside my house
someone used it to call the Dominican Republic
and used up the last few dollars (about 6) before the automatic recharge
which i have shut off…
but now i cannot be reached on phone
until i buy a new one
anyone got a spare phone laying around that will work on AT&T?
(Pretty much anything that will accept SIM cards)
or, maybe it’s just time to get an iPhone?

My father just sent me an ATT Phone card he found in a drawer somewhere. I have no idea what to do with it, since I don’t do pay by the minute phone calling. I’ll mail it to you if you email me your address. You can pay me back in December in NYC!

phone card?
Hey Tom
thanks for the offer…
but i don’t know what that phone card could possibly be for…
is it to add money to a Go Phone account?
that’s what i was using before..
(but i just automatically paid with a credit card)
but now i just need a phone (body) and a new SIM card
i do want a iPhone
just not the first generation…
the second doesn’t come out until January
and i can’t be phone-less that long!
Thanks for the card offer, though
and look forward to when you do get up here..

(oh, and if you post your email in a public place like that
spam robots can just pick it up and send you tons of junk
when posting it in a public place, always make it un-usable, but easily identifiable:

Re: phone card?
I have NO IDEA actually! It looks to be for making long distance calls on a land line, or something. Who knows- I haven’t paid for a LD call in 7 years!

I hope karma bites that guy in the ass. Meanwhile, you can use my phone tonight.
