For a week now
I’ve been healing from having these teeth yanked put of my head…
I only had the uppers
So they weren’t chewing anything anyway
And one was infected!
I’m getting my energy back
And greatful it went so easily
(spent most of the time in bed reading "the sookie stackhouse novels"
– which is probably the pulpiest thing I’ve ever read… Good while
the teeth are healing…)

There’s a certain… irony?… about reading vampire novels after having teeth extracted.

Hee, I was just about to say the same thing.
They are, indeed, pulpy, but oh so good. They remind me of a burger joint back home in Bloomington, IN. Thin, greasy burgers, fried on a flat top, with the onions fried in. You have to SHOWER after you eat them, they’re so greasy. Full of salt and so bad for you. But oh, they are so, so good that I usually cram down three at a time.

yeah, i get a little tired of her repeating EVERYTHING with each novel
and changing the details around as if she’s forgotten
and some of her morals don’t exactly jibe with mine
but she has a fun imagination
i’ve been enjoying following the stories
and feel the pull as if she actually has something to tell me…
i’ve never read any other vampire novel ever
now i wonder about Anne Rice….
