Sometimes i wonder if i’m just bad at this living thing
or if i’m missing the whole point
shouldn’t i be out there in the thick of it trying to sell myself for all i could possibly get?
perhaps that IS what i’m doing
i’m just not going for much
OR
that’s not what i’m doing
i’m just looking for a trade
equal shares
not trying to rip anyone off
or
up the ante
i’ve always been a bad gambler
some of you can contest…
but i look at some of these faces
the billboards
these glossy prints
and i feel like i’m missing the point

feel awkward
like walking in on someone fucking a stuffed panda bear
when i just wanted to tell them lunch was ready
